Chemical and Gas Commissioning Technician

As a Chemical and Gas Commissioning Technician working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Sherman, Texas. 
 
You will be responsible for the proficient operation, maintenance, installing and commissioning of chemical and gas delivery systems, including bulk chemical delivery, solvent, and gas delivery systems

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining chemical and gas delivery systems supporting High Volume Manufacturing. This includes systems such as bulk chemical delivery systems, solvent systems, and gas delivery systems. 
  • Install, commission, and start-up of gas and chemical delivery systems for semiconductor manufacturing process.
  • Utilize quality systems to diagnose process issues and interpret data related to bulk chemical and gas delivery systems. Employ Preventative Excursion Management Systems and analytical equipment for efficient problem-solving. 
  • Able to understand and diagnose analytical data using Cimplicity/SCADA Systems. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and analytical/metrology equipment used in the area. 
  • Role model safety practices and ensure compliance with procedural requirements related to the handling of hazardous production materials. Operate within regulatory guidelines and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
  • Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments and mitigate potential risks associated with gas and chemical systems.
  • Document commissioning activities and maintain commissioning checklist on system performance, deficiencies, and corrective systems.
  • Assist in the development of commissioning protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for gas and chemical systems.

Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years or prior experience in bulk gas and chemical delivery systems is required.
  • Must have experience in operations of QA/QC and commissioning bulk gas and chemical distribution and delivery.
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • Associate’s degree in chemical engineering preferred, but not required.
